Note: This deck is completely casual and should not be used in any sort of (competitive) tourney. It is outclassed by Ancient Dragons, Gaia Emperor, and Rexes.
Hello, everyone! This is JamesTheFenrirFanboi. I'm a new writer to the blog, and I'm very pleased to be here. As the name implies, I am a Fenrir player, along with Celestials and Magastu Ride Chain. I'm going to cut my introduction short, but if you ever have any questions about me or the blog, leave a comment or join the Discord.
The Raptor Ride Chain is old. Very old. And without support. Raptor Colonel has the skill to CB and retire 2 units to gain their power (usually around 15k power). Which is ok at best, because you can get that amount of power by a simple G-Unit. Again, this deck is meant to be casual, not competitive.
If the Ride Chain is completed, you actually net a neat +3. 1 card from the G0 → G1, and two superior calls when riding from G1 → G2 and G2 → G3. Pure plusses are always good. Because it is a ride chain, though, it’s not very consistent. If you want exact percentages for completing the chain, you can look here. I’ve never been a huge fan of V-Mundi, but I guess you’ll have to trust them on this one, because I’m to lazy to crunch the numbers myself.
In case the Ride Chain fails, you probably want a backup Grade 3. For Tachikaze, pretty much the only generic choices are Gaia Emperor, Spinodriver, and Dank Rex. I’m going to pretend that Gaia Emperor doesn’t exist because he’s sitting at over $30 at this point.
Unfortunately, neither Spinodriver nor Dank Rex are… great in the deck. Spinodriver can get hilarious in getting power and criticals when combined with Raptor Colonel’s skill (If you use the breakride skill and Colonel’s skill for +~25k and an extra critical). Spinodriver is honestly great for a break ride, and the only reason I’m reluctant to use him is because he can mess with the Ride Chain. If you Ride him onto Raptor Captain, you are losing out on the free card. If you ride Raptor Colonel, it will take 2 more turns and rides to get Spinodriver’s skill off. The card is by no means bad, and can help if the Chain is failed.
As for Dank Rex, he’s a subpar restander. It can be fun to abuse Tank Mammoth for a extra VG and RG attack, but it’s only 10k so it can’t hit the magic number of 11k by itself. The card can’t be underestimated, though, as it can lead to the final push for a kill. Dank Rex can also be major butthurt if you are forced to ride him. When choosing between Dank Rex and Spinodriver, it usually goes down to personal preference.
I’ve always loved Tachikaze for being so cheap. Especially the G-Zone (Except for you, Gluttony Dogma). The unfortunate thing is, like the G3s, they don’t have a ton of G-Zone options (compared to other clans). So far, they have 1 G-Guard, although you can use the Cray Elemental ones. (I don’t have any because I’m poor lol). The options we have are Gradogigant who can get to huge numbers and can hit like a tank to finish, Archraider who can apply pressure with an on-hit skill, Hammer Gewalt who can retire annoying/dangerous units while gaining power, and Twintempest who can nuke if necessary.
Those are the ones released in ENG, anyway.
Gaia Dynast is coming out in G-BT10. He is honestly amazing. He gives all of your RG a Tank Mammoth skill, except even better (without the soulblast). In addition, he can retire an entire column and CC1. I’m going to assume that he’s expensive for now, but he’s great. Blockade Ganga is another card being released. It’s a great G-Guard, getting +10k shield and giving 2 RGs bounce effects. An improvement upon their current G-Guard. Other than that, none of the cards from G-BT10 are really worth running, unless you can get your hands on the new Gaia. It's only a RR. It's probably gonna be relatively cheap. Barely any of the RGs in the deck have Enorge, so it's kinda meh.
Madew and Blizza are also options. Madew gets it’s effect off when Colonel is VG because its original power is 10k and Blizza can hit like a tank late game. Sebreeze exists, if you have the money.
I just said I like Tachi for being cheap, but man they don’t have very many options for generic cards. The G2 lineup is a little weird. The Ride Chain is at 4, of course. Tank Mammoth is honestly amazing, and Sacroblaze is… pretty good, if used right I guess. Retire for Silent Tom effect is good, especially when combined with Tank Mammoth for extra attacks, but the soul needs to be watched in this deck. You can’t soulcharge, like, at all (This is why I love you Genesis). Tank Mammoth deserves more praise than I can give it. An 8k unit that becomes 11k so it can hit the VG. Extra attacks are always good. Especially easy ones.
I guess Jigsawsaurus is an option. I like the other G2s more, though. It gets a boost and pressure, but Sacroblaze applies pressure better and Tank Mammoth is a must-have. The only other real option is the 10k vanilla if nothing else.
The thing that bothers me the most about these kind of Ride Chains is that if you don’t open with the G1 you lose out on all the rest of the advantage you would gain from completing the chain. Whatever. That’s why Ride Chain fixers like Odysseus are a thing (Ripples 2k15 were a mistake). Anyway, Sergeant is a must-have at 4. And then 4 PGs, of course. I think Savage Guardian is cheap.
> Looks up price of Savage Guardian.
> Sitting at around $10.
Gdi. This is the reason we can’t have nice things. Rip my budget waifu dreams.
Anyway, any PG works. Use the Engorge one are something I guess. Skyperto is at 3 because you don’t wanna depend on Tank Mammoth to keep your hand in check. Field to hand conversion is always good.
I use 2 Prism Bird to stride. Raptor Colonel isn’t super strong by itself. Striding is good. Another option is the LB4 enabler if you want to make the build more Raptor Colonel-oriented. The other G1s are probably more useful, though.
Your starter will be the ride chain, Raptor Soldier. I would definitely run Coelamagnum. I love Coalamagnum. Anyone who doesn’t is probably a terrible person who likes to torture puppies. Seriously, I love the card, even though it’s art looks hideous. A free draw when retired and a power-up.
For Critical triggers, Parasaulauncher is a thing if you are using Gaia. Even though neither of those cards exist to me. Black Cannon Tiger is a no-no. Losing 10k shield isn’t worth 1 soulcharge. Like ever.
If you like Draws, I guess you could go rainbow triggers. The Tachikaze units replace or call themselves back enough so that draws shouldn’t be necessary. Plus, you always want to get Colonel as powerful as possible and, since it cannot by itself, more Critical.
One final tip for the deck-- pay attention to CB. You don’t want to use it all early game and be stuck with a crappy late game.
Decklist:
Note: This is only an example decklist and should only be used as a base. I recommended that you create your own decklist through your own testing. I found this decklist to fit me, but it is up to you to find a decklist that fits you.

Final Words: Personally, I love this deck (that's just because I love every single Ride Chain). It's fun, it's budget, and future support is possible due to the support that the other Ride Chains have received. I'm proably baised in favor of Ride Chains, but whatever.
Anyway, I'm active on the Discord, so if you need any help you can reach us there. Even if you don't need any help, you can join the Discord, I promise we don't bite.
Thank you,

"We don't bite." He lies. Within the discord, cannibalism is very prevalent. If you're into that though, come on over!
