Budget Deck: Dimension Police (Zeal)

Reverse--- DAIYUSHAAAAA!!!

So there are 2 types of Dimension Police units. The right Superheroes of justice who strive to burn down evil, and the Villains, who wants to destroy Cray. I mean, it's obvious. A hero story can't start withought a Villain.

My head shoots out Lasers.
So the Leader of these Evil Monsters is Zeal, a ride chain. His skill is... A bit... I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay 2 Counterblasts just for a potential -5k to the opponent's Vanguard... The effect is really good, but the fact that it's a Limit Break, and that restriction in skill of needing to have Rear-guards... Zeal is usable, interesting, but... Oh wait.

Looks like I spoke too soon. G-EB01 gave us a Zeal Legion revival... Which actually works if played right. Here, we have a decent on-hit unflipper. Being able to hit 22k, it's like "PG or I unflip" which is preety good overall.

And my body shoots out Lasers.
Then this new Zeal has a Legion skill that's usable in your opponent's turn. If you take damage, you can Counterblast 1, then, do psuedo-Zeal effect and reduce a potential 5k on any unit. This actually is really good. I mean, it's during the battle phase, so your opponent can't do anything about it, and if you target a Rear-Guard unit with an on-hit skill, then the skill and the pressure flies away. Then, by using Damage Adders, the LB shouldn't be too worried about, and you'll be able to use the Legion skill during your turn too. Overall now, Zeal with the right support, makes an overall great Budget deck.

Then we have Evolution Monster, Davain, which sorta acts as a searcher for New Zeal that calls the original Zeal by putting a unit into the soul, and also giving -3k to the opponent's Vanguard. This is plussing you like no one. Putting a unit into the soul means fixing the missed Ride chain, then that -3k is a thing. And the free 10k attacker is no feat.

Not a option to run. Trust me.
Then lets move on to the other options of the Evil DP. Original Saver, Zero is a Breakride that adds +5k to your whole front row... Actually it gives -5k to your opponent's Vanguard, but the same thing. (By the way, if you want to calculate all these Power reducers, then count it as giving power to the whole front row.) So anyway, Zero on top of Zero can do amazing amount of Pressure. The same amount of plus can be done by Zeal, but that costs a Counterblast 2, which is no small feat.

Then now, let's go into the deck itself.

Grade 3

So this is overall simple. 4 New Zeal and 4 Original Zeal.

Grade 2

Then that's about it for the Grade 3 lineup. There are only a few choices, but all you need are Zeals in this deck so no problem. Anyway, moving on to the Grade 2 Lineup, there are quite a few choices. You'll obviously be using 4 of the Grade 2 Zeal. Aside from that, the best Grade 2 is Fusion Monster, Bugreed. The pressure it applies is unreal. And if it hits, that draw makes everything worth it. That one draw is really good. Let's say you used Zeal, an your opponent's Vanguard only has 6k power, then you attack with Bugreed boosted by a 8k Vanila, then your opponent will have to use 2-3 cards to block that. If he doesn't, you draw a card. This is really good.

I fused with a crab.
Aside from Bugreed, there's Plazm and Gunrock. Plazm is a solid choice... If it wasn't for that CB1. Well there is the option of using it as a pure Pressure unit, but there's Bugreed to do that for you. Then Gunrock is a good choice. You don't have to worry about that 8k, since you have a solid Ride target in this deck. In terms of offense it turns into a 11k attacker so no problems. Then of course, a few Cosmic Motherships.

Grade 1

Then we go to the Grade 1 lineup. So before saying anything, Lemme say this; The PGG of DP works really well with this Counterblast Heavy build, but... Price? But either way, you need to run 4 of the PGGs, no matter how much they cost. That's preety much the only $10+ of this deck, so bear with me folks.

Then maybe this at 2?

Anyway the 8k vanila is a Valid choice, since Bugreed is a thing. Then Fighting Saucer to use New Zeal's skill during your turn. Davain at 3-4 (By the way, you can use this guy's skill to Legion twice in a turn, and give -3k to the opponent's Vanguard, so good luck with that). Then we have the other choices like Gigabolt and stuff, but we're full on Grade 1s already. Oh and if you haven't figured out yet, 4 Grade 1 Zeals.

Grade 0

Then the Grade 0s. The starter is set, and the Triggers? Well, in this deck any lineup of triggers work, and I don't have anything much to reccomend, so you can test various types of triggers in this deck. Since all the triggers work well with the deck (Critical because they're criticals, Stands because your opponent will go down to 1k at best during your turn, Draws because of the condition of the LB and Legion skill, and heals are self-explinatory).

Grade 4

Aand I saved the best for last. There's the Grade 4 lineup. Actually it isn't much different from the Enigman lineup, exept that you'll probably want to run 4 Omega and 4 Pretty cat, since giving -power to your opponent unlocks the skills of monsters like Bugreed. Omega is... a bit Counterblast heavy... Wow, you're gonna need the PGG to do anything in this deck...

Decklist:
Note: I highly support building your own decks and doing your own testings. Please do not straight out use this deck, but use it as a base to start and spread out and make your own Version.

Grade 0
Grade 1:
Grade 2:
Grade 3:
Grade 4:

Effectiveness: 6/10

Price: $30-40

Competetive: Maybe

Final Words: Zeal has been a long time favorite of mine but I never got around to trying him out IRL because of the lack of Cosmic Monsters. And then BT13 gave us new Monsters... but they all sucked. I gave up building a monster deck... Until New Zeal came out and showed me a new ray of hope.

Anyway the deck is defenitely not Autopilot, and I dun even know if it'll be up for competetive play, but I recommend this heavilly for casuals due it being extremely fun to use.
