Gotta Love that Personality |
To start off the end of summer, I'm finally gonna write a post for Neo Nectar, which is the last clan to not have a post on this site...
Except for Touken Ranbu... which isn't even a real clan yet... Hopefully the new stuff will make them competitively viable.
Anyhow! Neo Nectar is excessively fun clan which, for a main character clan, is pretty cheap. Sure, Glorious Bloom Ahsha and Dream-spinning Ahsha are sitting at around $23 and $13 respectively cus of waifu tax, but outside of that the rest of the clan's pretty cheap.
Ahsha's big thing is huge power columns, as well as unit cloning. While the deck is a bit combo heavy, Ahsha decks have quite a few ways to get these power columns. They also have an "infinite power loop"... which is actually pretty simple to get off and got Lisbeth restricted over in Japan.
But hey, we're not Japan(or most of us aren't).
Anyhow, let's get onto the blog!
Grade 4
I'm lovin' it |
all of the generic Neo Nectar strides are viable here.
Multivitamin Dragon's gonna be the main stride here. It gives power boosts to your rearguards after one of your units is cloned. (S)he's ridiculous and is one of the cards that goes into the infinite power loop combo. Obvious 4-of in budget decks and still great even in non-budget.
Before I get onto the next stride, let me just say LOOK AT VERANO'S ASS!
*ahem* Continuing on, Verano is really good when you already have Greenshot/Katrina on field and can tutor out 3 more copies along with Ahsha, which in turn leads to massive columns. Her cost also helps her get needed units out of the soul and back into the deck. Just perfect.
Arborea's the tried and true on-hit Stride of Neo Nectar. Not particularly amazing, but not particularly bad and great G-Zone filler.
Primavera's a GR that's only $3... Oh, how I miss "cheap" GRs... Disregarding, run 1 copy of her. She's excessively situational, but she does have her uses. If nothing else, she's pretty looking G-Assist fodder.
While Multivitamin's a good pressure unit while calling and setting up your field, Jingle Flower's just perfect when you already have an established board and can't call. With 4 rearguards with the same name, all of your units are getting +8000, which is obviously nothing to scoff at. You also have ways of getting 5 units with the same name on the field, meaning all units get +10,000. Yeah, this thing's pretty fucking amazing as a finisher.
For G-Guardians, all we got at the moment's Rain Breath, which is useful against control matchups and setting up for Ahsha's Stride Skill. If you got Scryew and Dizmel, great.
Sebreeze if you can get her.
Grade 3
4 Ahsha's obvious. Now what else do we have?
Firstly, Ines is an obvious choice that can toolbox most of your combo pieces.
Next, Flower Pistol is treated as any unit that is called, which makes triggering Multivitamin really easy, as well as making it a target for bloom skills like Greenshot and Katrina.
There's Venus Trap Reverse and Venus Trap Muse if you want, but I don't recommend.
Grade 2
Identity Issues |
Thuria and Flower Screen both act as extra copies of cards, with Thuria triggering on-call and Flower Screen triggering while on field. Obviously, Thuria is much more versatile and goes well with the Bloom support, but Flower Screen recycles resources, which is heavily needed in Neo Nectar.
Gladiolus is the Amber clone of Neo Nectar that clones one of your units. It's only really good to get out another heavy hitter after using Jingle Flower, so I don't heavily recommend it.
Salianna's useful for Multivitamin plays and infinite power loop, but I only recommend running her if you have the room.
Maiden of Lost Memory is broken as hell if it hits and there are 2 or more copies on the field, but since it is really inconsistent in nature I don't recommend using it unless its for the lols.
Grade 1
4 Perfect Guards. 3-4 Stride Fodders. And use Lilga as your PG. She's cheap, she's cute, and she can be searched off of Ihnes.
There's Tomboy Elf, but Pia is better in almost every situation. Pia sends back more and powers up more, albeit the power is distributed.
Katrina is a Greenshot Elf clone that gets more power. Again, an obvious 4-of.
Sweet Berry can turn herself into any other rearguard on your field, which helps with combos.
Fruits Basket Elf for the Lost Memory cheese, but essentially worthless outside of that.
Grade 0
You have two options for starters here: Ozu or Elmy. Ozu costs counterblast, while Elmy doesn't.
Meanwhile, Ozu covers more of what you do want to clone(Grade 0-2), while Elmy is locked to essentially just Grade 2s. It's a preference pick.

I run 8 Stand 4 Crit in Ahsha, since you need the crit, but have huge columns to make great use of the stands. You can tweak the numbers around, but I suggest you have at least four Lisbeth.
Lisbeth can send back the most resources, especially after all your Greenshots/Katrinas hit the dropzone... or you can use it to do the infinite power loop with Multivitamin. It's just a good card overall and has a bunch of uses.
Decklist:
NOTE: This is only an example decklist and should only be used as a base. I recommended that you create your own decklist through your own testing. I found this decklist to fit me, but it is up to you to find a decklist that fits you.

Competitive: Does Verano Have a Sexy Ass?
Final Words: The huge columns and offensive pressure that Ahsha decks have is just amazing. They also don't leave anything behind in the defensive department either, so they don't have hard problems surviving. If you're worried about the price, a bunch of it is just the G-Zone, so if you make some cuts you could get this for a pretty good price.
Anyhow, see you in the next one!

ReplyDeleteMultivatim is trash outside of budget decks that don't have the $$$ to buy GR Asha G4s
Never forget the infinite power loop *shiver*
DeleteThe infinite power loop is...
DeleteMeh.
there's a power loop for ahsha? I thought its for maiden of?
DeleteThere's no real difference. Just deck thin until there's only maiden of sweet berry and Lisbeth in deck. It's essentially the same thing as Refros loop, but Sweet Berry can proxy as Lisbeth and NN can use Lisbeth can send back other Lisbeths and Sweet Berrys. The biggest deck-thinner in the deck is Lost Memory, so you can still build the deck around the loop with Aha and still have it work.
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any plan to make an article about Red-leaf Dragon Deck build?
I might. But I'm not planning on it
Deletehttps://cardfightlabtech.wordpress.com/2016/08/26/red-leaf-dragon-deck/
DeleteThis deck is under 90
the list could be optimized a bit more, -x-

(Lol at the last part I spazzed out)
You can only have Refros at 1 now, due to the new restriction.
DeleteAnd don't run self-damagers. Not worth it at all.
granblue cocytus deck?
ReplyDeleteI dunno. Probably. It's pretty cheap and a solid deck, so yeah.
Deletereally! Thankyou so much!!!
DeleteMy favorite tool boxing deck is Granblue, but i'm someone who hates to play what others are playing so yeah COCYTUS!!!!!
Since new TD came out and there's the upcoming boosters too, any changes to this?
ReplyDeleteAlot, actually.
DeleteBoth Greenshot Elf and Katrina got creeped out by Anelma and Odette respectively. While you can run both Katrina and Odette in the same list of G2s, Greenshot is getting completely replaced for Anelma.
New starter is a better choice than Elmy now, in my opinion, so that should be swapped out.
Marjukka/Rauni is prolly a better engine than Ines now so try that out
New strides should be cheap outside of Anelma, so ye
Also new Ahsha if you can pick some up. For half your organs.
