Deck Spotlight: KONO CLOWN DA! (Intensely Sweet Clown Abuse)

I assume everyone here knows about the killer clown sightings recently.

If not, basically there's a bunch of clowns that are terrorizing people and whatnot. While the issues is serious and an actual problem, it's become a meme as of now. Everyone's making clown jokes, and I'm not excluded.

And this is what inspired me to write this post. A deck that's made to abuse a clown that I think is killer.

Intensely Sweet Clown's an amazing card. Instant 17k column when called with Harri or Mephisto. And with multiple Clowns? And enough face up Mephistos in the G-Zone? It's gonna hurt.

Now, see my glorious creation!

Spoopy af
Looks a bit like Magia, but runs pretty differently.

Again, this deck focuses on getting Intensely Sweet into soul and making columns. The Grade 0 lineup supplements that. Entertain Messenger can put Intensely Sweets that you have in hand and put them right into your soul. The 12-Stand trigger lineup makes your big Clown columns swing again, with Prankster Girl also being able to search out Intensely Sweet.

... Okay, you want Crits? Go 6 and 6... Okay, you don't want to run Entertain Messenger? Go Happiness Collector...

PGs, Stride Fodders, and Paratrooper for obvious reasons.

Dancing Princess is another card that toolboxes Intensely Sweet and has nice speed, being able to be used as early as Turn 2. Spicy Clown is for more clowns(lol) and is actually really nice for powering up your vanguard on your opponent's turn. Peryton can be subbed in for Spicy if you want it to have more of a Magia feel.

Bad Eater Clown... is actually MVP. I'm not kidding. You can call him out with Maja and Ring Master(if you're running Ring as your PG) and, if you have a Spicy Clown out, make your vanguard have 28k defensive for one attack. It's hilarious as hell. Bad Eater Clown also looks spooky, so yeah.

Harri to call out your Clowns. I used Eva so that I can ride back into Harri and not minus.

Standard(for the most part) G-Zone. Milward gives even more pressure on your Clown columns and Mephisto, as you get into the game, can get you 4 Sweet Clowns... Oh the brutality.

Chuck in a Dragon Masquerade or some Pranas if you want.

Effectiveness: 5.5/10

Price: $30-35

Competitive: Maybe

Final Words: Really fun troll/theme deck that can actually do well. It has a solid core and winning image, so it doesn't immediately lose out. Sure, high power columns in a clan not made for it isn't the best idea, but it runs well.

Anyhow, Happy Halloween everyone! See you in the next one!
