Tachikaze, right now, has 3 major builds. Ancient Dragons, Gaiaemperor, and finally, Rexes. Putting ADs aside for a sec, Gaia is an extremely good deck. Being able to launch Dogma waves one after the other consistently, making power collumns and gaining a major hand, Gaia is straight out the best deck Tachikaze has ever had. That being said, Gaia's also one of the most expensive decks that Tachikaze ever got. Gaia himself is about... $15, and then Dogma is a thing, who is sitting at $25 or so. That being said, thanks to Gaia, the other two builds became really cheap.
One of the two is Rex, which is a legacy deck that people wanted revived for a long time, including me. Rexes are a decent deck, being able to use Squallrex to push in the damage while finishing the opponent with Darkrex shenanigance. Their stride, Hellrex Maxima, supports this strategy by helping you tutor out a Rex you needed in that specific time (which, in most cases, is gonna be Squall, sometimes Dark) while giving the entire front row a +4k, helping in the 10k base that you tend to suffer from while powering up Tank Mammoth. Rexes also have an amazing fodder in the form of Assault Rex, who helps you hit hard while nullifying the cost of many cards for a simple draw 1 (Remember kids: field to hand conversion is good as Aurageyser has proven over the years).
Oh and also, remember that Assault Rex also triggers off if you used Squall/Darkrex on him and have nothing else in the bind zone. How does this work when Iguano + Darkrex over Spinodriver doesn't? Don't ask me, ask Bushi.
Anyways, Rexes can maintain a solid attacking spree while collecting a bunch of cards into the hand with Assaultrex.
