So, when you build a deck, you just throw in a bunch of good cards together, and you're ready to go! Or are you? Just because it works on paper, doesn't mean that it'll work in reality. This is where
testing comes in. As the word itself implies, test the deck by using it, note down the differences, and then, modify it a little bit, and test again, and see the results. Do this again and again until you have your desired deck.
But, for Budget players like us... That isn't so easy. We don't have all the parts to modify the deck with, and it's hard to find them everytime you make a modification.

If only cards would rain down from the sky... |
So, how do we test? Fear not people! If you go online, there are a considerable amount of
Online Vanguard Simulators. Notably, the easiest one to use is
Cardfight Area. You can playtest all you want here! Now, please note that this is only for Playtesting purposes. If you let CFA overshadow your IRL Vanguard life, that's gonna be a problem, since first of all, interaction with other people is important, and since CFA has
many low-quality players.
A lot of people there have problems with the game, like not knowing the complicated Rulings, English not being their first language, being impatient, etc. Also it's a real pain to write... Err, type all those words continously.

Well said Mamoru. Well said. |
So, there may be some annoying players, there may be bugs from time to time, but it's really our only playtesting simulator that is easily controllable. For another simulator?
Tradecardsonline is a fantastic website that you can playtest online. This website, unlike CFA, has some quality players who won't ramble around about "I'm stronger than you, noob" or something like that. While the controls are a bit harder than CFA, it's worth visiting it.
So, do note please, that when making a deck online, consider the price of the deck,
and then put them together. For example, do not use Ragnaclock Dragon, even online. You have the possibility of getting addicted.
XD No, it's fine. As long as you don't build it IRL. You can make expensive quality decks online with 4 Ragnaclocks, and I won't bat an eye. Just don't build it IRL. It's not worth your entire wallet. I know that it's tempting to try it out, so what's holding you back?
Finally, as I said, don't let the online life take over your Vanguard life. The tournaments feel different, and competetive play gets a lot more fun IRL. Also interaction.
