But there is a solution for all of this. As long as you don't mind being hated by everyone around you, Jewel Knight G2 Rush works. The deck takes any early damage, then uses that cb to call out a formation and rush asap. This build has 16 Crits, and rerides G2 to bypass Sebreeze. This deck actually topped... somewhat recently. I can't find the online list, so I had to ask Verz for his.
Decklist:
NOTE: This is only an example decklist and should only be used as a base. I recommend that you create your own decklist through your own testing. I found this decklist to fit me, but it is up to you to find a decklist that fits you.

I would recommend a fake G Zone, otherwise the opponent would be more likely to suspect a Rush build.
"Climax" Jewel Knight ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |
This list definitely has flexibility, but one point that I wanted to elaborate is that Swordmy is absolutely necessary and cannot be cut. It's the best toolboxer and board filler the deck has by far. Unfortunately it is still a $10 promo, but oh well. With Swordmy, you can call out Prizmy if you need the hand filtering, Shellie if you need the 10k number, or Cymbeline if you want to make magic numbers with your other units. Starlight Violinist serves the same purpose, filling up the board and calling Swordmy or any of the other G2s. The 10ks can be the ride target, and will make it harder for the opponent to hit.
The deck really isn't too difficult to use, and the surprise factor can't be underestimated. Don't be afraid to go "balls-to-the-walls", because that's kind of the point of the deck. Fill up the board as quickly and efficiently as possible and figure out how to best make numbers and deal damage and sack Crits.
Effectiveness: 8/10
Price: $50-60
Competitive: Yes
Final Words: Unfortunately, Rush in general is looked down upon by the general community. Regardless, it's a cool, fun deck that does incredibly well for the price. Filling up the board quickly and then reriding G2 works in the G Era, so why not.

Rush gets too much hate, i think its only hated because it craps on a lot of tier 1 decks borderline broken decks that manhandle a lot of tier 2 decks so people just exploit weaknesses in most of them with rush, and they get upset XD
ReplyDeleteGood work as always James (and you're welcome for the swordmys too lol)!
ReplyDeleteAnother thing wanna point out is when GTB11 comes out, highly reccommend getting a playset of Alonegal (Kurihime clone) as the last crits and hopefully it should be easy to get since will be common (unless it becomes same price as Flogal crit then rip).
I have a budget decks of bermuda triangle (Prism) based on support fromn GCB05, if u wanna try it i can pass you the recipe
