Deck Spotlight: Jewel Knight Rush (Royal Paladin)

Image result for jewel knightJewel Knights is that one deck that everyone wants because WAIFU, but it never really seems worth the price tag to actually buy. With Swordmy being $10, Asheli "Reverse" being $4, and the G Unit being around $4, it really starts to add up. It doesn't help that alot of the generic Royal Paladin stuff is incredibly expensive, thanks to Blaster and Sanc.

Deck Spotlight: Ripple Overdrive (Ripple Rush)

Ripples are just great. They really are. The deck I started out on this blog with too. Remember when Odysseus was at 4?

Ah, good times.

Sebreeze and Oddy nerfs have really taken a toll on the Ripple strategy, but they still are fun as hell and still strong. They're also my favorite rush deck of the bunch, being the only one that's non-linear and has methods of plussing, through Sea-Turtle and multi-attacking and whatnot.

Deck Spotlight: 1-Trick Paladins feat. Spear People (Grade 1 Rush)

Amazing Character
Art
Grade 1 Rush is THE most hated rush deck and I'm pretty sure it's what started the hate for rush decks. By being able to hit pretty high numbers with just Grade 1s, the board is all set up for victory. Against any Stride or Legion deck G1 Rush will dominate the matchup. The strength of the deck lies in that any opening hand and anything you draw can be called and contributed to the rush. And if you choose to play the Liberator variant, you could be defensive as hell too.

Although while they ARE annoying, Grade 1 Rush deck isn't nearly as potent as it used to be. The meta is just unfavorable for it at the moment.  But if GB and Legion-based decks start to become meta and more popular, Grade 1 Rush will become more successful.

Deck Spotlight: Gunmen and Cats (Cat Butler)

Cat Butler is so broke I don't even know.
Best Butler
Over in Japan, back in Legion era, Cat Butler was the most broken card in the game. The cheapest restand available at the time. Even with the G2 and lower restriction it's one godly card. Hell, he even got hit because of it in Japan format. A deck focused on abusing Cat Butler would work really, really well and be very, very potent.

Deck Spotlight: Daiyusha's Bizarre Adventure: Battle for Cray (Platinum-Daiyusha Pressure)

Toki yo Tomare!

Alrighty. First deck of rush week, and this post is gonna be covering a fun little Dimension Police rush deck. It's based off a deck awhile back that focused on early crit pressure, but with a few upgrades from all the Dimension Police support we've been getting in the G-Era. It plays out a bit differently than other kinds of rush decks, but it's still hella fun to play(but not against)
