Budget Deck: Bermuda Triangle (Trois)

Back at it again with the waifu clans.

Well, it's summertime so I thought that it would be the perfect time to cover our favorite ladies of the ocean!

Jokes aside, I've been wanting to cover Bermudas for awhile and decided to write now that all of the new G-Clan Booster cards have been confirmed. While generic builds sorta got the short end of the stick in the last booster, I still think they are pretty strong.

But wait how much is Lauris again?
$13. I guess not.

What other Grade 3s can we use as our boss? Let's see...

Trois is a really good Legion Revival of Riviere, which has had some competitive success in the past. For Counterblast 3 and discard 3 you can restand your vanguard. The cost is really heavy, but for Bermudas it's not that hard to get back the counterblast. A restanding vanguard is nothing to scoff at in general and how much is she? Not even $1? Just great, albeit her mate is sorta pricy, but I'll get to that in a moment. Anyhow, let's get onto the blog!

Grade 3
4 Trois, then 2-3 Riviere. Pretty simple. If you have them you can tech-in a Lauris or two.

Grade 2
Soo. Lots of options here. Ricca, Vita, and Nanoka all help with the counterblast problems Trois has. Filie for the draws, or Emilia if you can afford her. Potpourri for on-hit pressure, but Spica's better to have.

Grade 1
4 Perfect Guards. Then Stride Fodders.

Nina or Kura to open up counterblast, then Shizuku for some easy plus. If you're running Lauris you might want to consider Pumo as well.

Grade 0
If you are running the Ride Chain, Riviere. If not, Akari.

For triggers, I'd run 12 Crit for the offensive pressure, but if you need Draws go for it.

Grade 4
First off, run as many Olyvia as you can. Outside of that, there's Somni for on-hit pressure, Amoris and Elprina for bounce, and maybe Frederica. Madew, as always, for free striding.

2 Nasha, 2 Leona, and maybe a Scryew. You don't need Dizmel, since Leona can do the same job.

Decklist:
NOTE: This is only an example decklist and should only be used as a base. I recommended that you create your own decklist through your own testing. I found this decklist to fit me, but it is up to you to find a decklist that fits you.

Effectiveness: 8/10

Price: $60-70 USD, $80-90 CAD, €80-85 EU

Competitive: Maybe

Final Words: This deck is a lot more aggressive than other Bermuda decks and I had a really good time with it. Trois has seen some competitive success in the past and I think that, in the right hands, she can see some competitive play now.

Anyhow, see you on the next one!

  1. Runs really well, granted I run Lauris and being able to sit with her and getting her GB2 activated and finishing with Trois is a really great combo. After multiple strides and depleting their PG/G-Guardians, Trois ability to re-stand, along with Potpourri/Spica forcing multiple attacks is such a great pressure.

I'm going to try 4 Trois, 2 Riviere and 2 Lauris when I go to my locals tmr or saturday, since I been lucky my 1 Riviere has never hit the dmg zone
yet but I want to get a safeguard for that just in-case and test the consistency as well of the 8 gr 3.

    *this is vgVerz btw*

    2. How much do you think it would cost if it was just the ride chain?

    3. Without Shandees and Shizukus, the deck would probably cost around $20-25 give or take. The only "expensive" card is Riviere, and its not really that high.
