Deck Spotlight: Daiyusha's Bizarre Adventure: Battle for Cray (Platinum-Daiyusha Pressure)

Toki yo Tomare!

Alrighty. First deck of rush week, and this post is gonna be covering a fun little Dimension Police rush deck. It's based off a deck awhile back that focused on early crit pressure, but with a few upgrades from all the Dimension Police support we've been getting in the G-Era. It plays out a bit differently than other kinds of rush decks, but it's still hella fun to play(but not against)

Grade 0:
4x Dimensional Robo, Daimagnum
16x Critical Triggers

Grade 1:
4x Metalborg, Bryknuckle
4x Cosmic Hero, Granpolice
4x Metalborg, Mist Ghost
2x Karenroid Daisy

Grade 2:
4x Platinum Ace
4x Dimensional Robo, Daidriller
4x Cosmo Beak

Grade 3:
4x Super Dimensional Robo, Daiyusha

Star Platinum!
The deck is centralized the two power cards of the deck: Platinum Ace and Daiyusha. This deck is going to be abusing their extra critical skill as early as possible when guarding is difficult. It ain't fun being on the receiving end of 20-21k 2-Crit attacks starting on turn two. And with the threat of Critical Trigger checks, of which you run 16, your opponent's gonna have to either suck it up and take your 2-3 Crit attacks like a man or throw down 2-4 cards to guard it.

The rest of the deck complements your pair with various +4000 skills to let Platinum Ace and Daiyusha do their thing. Mist Ghost is the main ones, with Cozmo Beak as a backup option in case you get unlucky(try not to use it. It's overcosted). Our starter, Daimagnum, also gives +4000 for that extra consistency and I run 4. Quintet Walls are also used in lieu of Perfect Guards so as to not fall behind in card advantage.

The deck also keeps magic numbers in mind. Daiyusha, Any +4k Skill, and a 7k Booster will result in a 21k magic number column. The same works with Platinum Ace if swapping the 7k booster with an 8k booster, which are perfect space fillers as well.

Potential Changes:

RODORODA DA!
If only Laurel wasn't so expensive... Or Grandlady...

If Goeagle gets an English release(If ever. Bushiroad pls), he'd be a perfect card to swap with Daiyusha.

You can swap out Bryknuckle for conventional Perfect Guards if you want to. Or go a 2/2 Split. If you CAN afford the PG-Gs I'd recommend their use for the countercharge.

A little variation you can also do is to swap Metalborg, Drion for Daiyusha and Metalborg, Lionetter for Cosmo Beak for 30k 2-Crit attacks, and it also increases the value of Mist Ghost.

You COULD get a G-Zone, but you really don't need one.

And there's Stando Triggers, for obvious reasons.

Effectiveness: 7.5/10

Cost: $15-20

Competitive: In 1-Round, Yes. In Best-Of-3, Maybe.

Final Words: Really fun deck that could be used casually, since it ain't too scumbag that your friends will hate you. Deck performs better when your opponent is not expecting it, so in Best-of-3 Tournaments you might find that you won't do as well. If you just wanna have a cheap, little, fun Dimension Police deck this one is perfect.
